Interview
Was tossed around between different people in higher management for five weeks with multiple phone and video interviews. there were days and weeks where it seemed they forgot about the interview process altogether.
I did two long writing projects, which I never got feedback on. Trying to get any feedback from them was like pulling teeth. They didn't even seem to understand what type of person they were looking for. They spent more time talking about their company values and asking redundant questions than actually getting into the nitty gritty of the job qualifications. Complete waste of time.
We're very sorry to hear you had a negative experience.
Our interview processes is lengthy because we want to make the best hiring decision for the company and the individual. We will take as long as needed to find the right fit.
We paid you $500 to complete the writing assignments, and we did not set the expectation that feedback would be given :). Projects are a great way for us to really test and see your work in action. We pay you to do the work so that it will not be a waste of time if you are not hired.
We always, and will continue to talk about our values and try to get to know you as a person. We believe that finding someone that fits into our culture is more important than skills on a resume. We are a training and education company and believe we can teach you marketing. We cannot teach character and values, though. They are and will continue to be a staple of our hiring process.
We hope that you found a position that is a great fit for you.

Interview
The interview focused on what your career values were. The team wanted to make sure that I was invested in focusing on our clients and their needs. It was relaxed, and took place over a week.
