I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Discover (West Valley City, UT) in Feb 2014
Interview
Professional, fair questions, engaging, quick turn around time on decision making process. Unfortunately there was no feedback provided or offered by the hiring manager. Person selected sat right next to the hiring manager so there was already a rapport built.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Deerfield, IL) in Jan 2012
Interview
Employee referral. Was easy to get the interview. I didn't have much experience in banking or credit card domain. But the questions were very intuitive for a newbee in this domain. Mainly asked about analyzing a few graphs, nature of churn. Very commonsense question. From resume, and domain specific.
