Usually 3 rounds, first a technical and motivational interview with an associate and manager. Then a case study was conducted in the second round. Lastly, an interview with a partner.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at EY (Sydney) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process went as follows
1. Online application
2. invitation to complete the psychometric testing. This wasn’t timed and tested soft and hard skills (numerical and verbal reasoning)
3. The SaT team reached out and asked to confirm my preferences and write a statement of motivation
4. Invitiation to the hybrid recruitment day (this involved a case study (they tell you the theme and this years was sustainability) and a separate interview with a few more junior team members.
5. If they like you, they schedule a catch up with a senior team member which you have a discussion about the role and expectations and a slightly technical chat about the chosen service line and in this case it was a slightly technical chat about M&A
