I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Burnaby, BC) in Aug 2011
Interview
Started with a phone call from a recruiter, next there was a phone screening with a programmer from the team, finally an in person interview.
The interview was pretty standard fare, with a few basic technical questions and a couple of brain teasers.
After that I was called with the offer, and a package was mailed to me. For my position there was no salary or benefits negotiation what-so-ever, but this is not always the case. After I'd received the package and signed the documents, I was given a start date for orientation.

Question 1
All questions asked were basic C++ language questions, followed by a bunch of brain teasers.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Bellevue, WA)
Interview
I completed a technical interview via phone with 7 engineers. After I passed that interview, I was flown in for an all-day on-site interview with 13 different people. After that I received a verbal offer, with a written offer coming 3 months later as they had a hiring freeze right after my verbal offer.

Question 1
The technical questions weren't that difficult (it was an SE1 job), including asking me about linked lists and structs. At one point I was asked about function pointers, but it turned out it was a question they were dealing with and no one knew the answer.
