The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Mar 2011
Interview
I applied online and two weeks later, HR contacted me to schedule an phone interview. An EPIC employee called me. We go though my resume. He is very nice. I asked several questions about the job, the company and the industry. The interview took 44 minutes total. He will send the the interview report to HR and I should be able to get result two weeks later. The next step is an remote accessment. Then if the candidate pass the accessment, next step is an on campus interview.

Interview
Submitted application online, received a call back for a phone interview in which I basically walked them through my resume. A bit later they called me back for an onsite interview in Madison(their HQ). They paid for a trip up, spent all day interviewing there. Some testing, case study, tour, and a presentation were all involved.
They have a beautiful corporate campus and they definitely show it off on the visit, all in all a very positive experience.

Question 1
There was a test on programming, which I don't know much about so I found it difficult. Some of it follows logically but some is tougher to follow

Interview
First I was contacted to have a phone interview, where I spoke to someone at HR for about 20 minutes. It was pretty straightforward, and like people have said, they asked about SAT scores which for some people is hard to remember off the bat. I wish it was more personable, but it just seemed like she was just asking questions off of a list. Then I got called in for an on-site interview, which consisted of a tour, software demo, 3-on-1 chat with a current project manager, 1-on-1 interview with a project manager, a presentation, and a 1-on-1 with an HR person. Got there the night before, had dinner with an Epic employee and another person interviewing the next day, but they were both TI, so I didn't feel like I learned much from it. The interviews went fine, the presentation was probably where I did badly because I wasn't sure where I was on time during the whole thing. But the people were really nice, seemed like a great culture to work in, and the buildings provide a really creative atmosphere.
