The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in May 2010
Interview
The questions asked during the phone interviews and on-site interviews were very behavioral in nature, very few technical ones. The on-site visit was great. They roll out the red carpet for potential employees.
Interview process consisted of:
45-minute HR-type phone interview
On-campus math/programming skills assessment (basic programming logic)
3 interviews on-site with managers/ staff

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2010
Interview
It was a short phone interview. They basically went over my resume and asked me some questions based on what was on there. The interviewer was very polite and friendly and I was given time at the end to ask any questions that I might have. The main purpose of the interview was to tell me more about the hiring process and discuss with me the opportunities available at the company and find a post that interests me. This was followed up by skills assessment test at a local testing center.
