I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in May 2010
Interview
After applying online, I was sent a personality profile. This was followed up with a brief phone interview, nothing stressful, more to check facts and talk a little about the job. The next step was a skills test, which I took locally and which was proctored. After the test was sent to be graded, it was about 2-3 weeks before I was invited on site. The night before the interview, several other candidates went to dinner with an Epic employee in downtown Madison, and we were put up in a nice hotel.
The interview process consisted of several 20-30 minute sessions with many different Epic employees. I was asked to take a brief test onsite, had some interviews, and gave a short presentation on the topic of my choice. Everyone I encountered was friendly, bright, and well-spoken, and appeared to truly enjoy working there.

Give an example of a time when something you were in charge of did not go as planned.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Mar 2010
Interview
First you take a really long ACT style test to find out if you are smart enough for an on-site interview. If you receive an on-site interview, Epic will put you up in the Hilton and then you will tour the facility. This position required a 10 minute presentation, a one on one interview with someone in HR, and a role-play type scenario.
