I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in May 2010
Interview
I had a phone interview first with someone from IT. It was about 20 minutes. Questions were my GPA score, how much I code a week, and where do I see myself in 5 years.
Then I had to take the Skill Test. I wouldn't say it was an easy test. After that, I was invited for on-site interview. Now I am going there.

Interview
I received an email from a recruiter regarding my resume on Monster.com. I applied on their website referencing this and received an email response from HR 11 days later. They requested I fill out an online personality profile while waiting to schedule the initial phone interview. A 20-30 minute initial phone interview was scheduled for the following Monday (5 days later) but the interviewer did not call until 55 minutes after the scheduled time. He apologized and we re-scheduled for the same time the next day.
The phone interview went well. It was mostly information about the company and about the team on which I'd be working. Then he asked four or five standard HR questions (Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Why do you want to work for us? Would you be willing to relocate? Etc.). At the end of the interview he indicated he wanted to proceed to the next step and to schedule a skills assessment test to be proctored locally. He said HR would be contacting me within a week or so to schedule this.
Six days later (the next Monday) I receive an email from HR saying that they've decided "to move forward with other candidates."
