Easily the biggest waste of time for any job interview I've ever done. They start with REQUIRING a session where you attend a zoom call with a bunch of people also interviewing to hear about the role. Except they don't tell you important stuff like what the roles pays or what benefits are available. When I asked about flexibility they compared workers who ask for flexibility to "burger flippers". Next was a ridiculous set of 4 quizzes, with questions that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the role. Why am I being asked questions about development for a non-development role? Why am I being asked to solve math problems that have nothing to do with what a day to day job looks like? Waste of time.

Lots of math questions, like something to the effect of how to budget a $50,000 bank account and $10,000 cash for payroll and buying a bunch of computers.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jan 2026
Interview
Multiple rounds, one technical with multiple choice and 3-5 coding questions, and with a 4-5 hour process where you do a behavioral interview, talk to other employees, and case study.

In the medical field, patients need to track when they take medicine, what's a solution?
Zoom interview, school, past internships, leetcode questions, some variations, and then personality fit, extracurricular. And then asked me if I had questions for them. The process feels normal and nothing stood out in particular.
