I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2011
Interview
I received an interview after submitted my resume through my university's career website. The interview itself was very laid back. Some of the questions included "Tell me about a time when you were the leader of a group and had to make an unpopular decision." "If you were the leader of a team and you wanted to do option A but the rest of your group wanted to do option B, what would you do?" My interviewer did not hold the actual position I was interviewing for so did not have exact answers to all my questions, but was overall fairly knowledgable about the position. I was admitted to the next step of the process which is taking some sort of intelligence test.

Interview
Interview process began with an online personality quiz - pretty easy and quick. They also snuck a few simple logic questions into it. A few days later I was contacted by an HR Rep who scheduled a phone interview with me for the next day. The phone interview was a joke. They didn't ask really any traditional interview questions. It took all of 15 minutes and then I was scheduled to fly out to Madison for an interview. I flew out the following week. The interview was a full day and there were probably 50 other people interviewing on the same day. There were a series of SAT-like assessments, a group interview, a 1:1 interview, a 10 minute presentation, etc. It was quite a long day. Just make sure your'e prepared for the testing. Everything else is pretty standard and everyone is very friendly and easy to talk to.

Interview
A recruiter contacted me to apply, which led to a phone interview. During the phone interview I was informed that I would be brought to Madison.
In Madison there were about 30 people interviewing and I was given the impression that they have that many people there interviewing each day. A full day of assessments and interviews with various people occurred. I was called a few weeks later and a voicemail was left by the recruiter informing me that I was not selected to continue.
