I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at European Wax Center (New York, NY) in Jun 2014
Interview
I met with the manager of the store, and interviewed with her. She liked me, but the hiring wasn't up to her. She then sent me to a different EWC location to meet with the owner of the franchise. It was all done in one day, and was pretty convenient, given we were in New York City.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at European Wax Center (East Brunswick, NJ) in Aug 2012
Interview
Very general, went over resume and sales experience. It was more of a conversation between me and the hiring manager. We went back and forth with the behavioral questions (tell me about a time...)
I was asked about the type of hours i felt comfortable working and what type of employment was i looking for. The manager went over expectations of position and the overall review of company. I had to role play with the manager where i reviwed the script and tried to pitch to her one of the sales packages that was offered at the EWC.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at European Wax Center (Totowa, NJ) in May 2014
Interview
Pretty casual. Interview was help at a cafe next door. Asked a few simple questions, mostly related to sales and previous experience. It's less just checking people in and ringing them out, it's more sales pitching for packages so they need to know that you can speak well, communicate, and explain the packages well while sounding super convincing.
