I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Intercontinental Exchange in Apr 2019
Interview
I aced the preliminary screening stage and went on to the next phase over the phone. It appeared that they were desperately looking for a reason to reject the candidates. This job posting has been there for a long time. I remember seeing it even 5 years back. Absolute waste of time. Total eye wash.

Question 1
What does mutable mean? What does static mean ? What does explicit mean?
Interview was split into two sections
First half an hour was an informal chat explaining the role
Second half was held with HR going through CV and answering role specific questions in relation to my CV
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Intercontinental Exchange (Santa Monica, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Got a message on linkdin recruiter requesting me if i am interested in a position to be considered. I replied yes. Then he sent me two questions to give solutions to. Solutions were complex enough as he also asked to write test cases and consider the assumptions he specified. I took my time around 6 hrs and gave him the solutions in really peak times. He wanted the solutions at earliest. After this, i got email from them saying, would like to schedule a call interview. (Apparently, solutions were satisfying). Then he asked me to apply officially to their posting and sent me the link. I spent another 30 mins filling up all details. And, morning i got email saying, i am not considered for the position because of my qualifications. (I have grad degree and not only undergrad in IT).
If i am not qualified on the first hand, why the hell you asked me to spend 6-7 hrs of my time solving your problems?
Advise to H1 folks: if employer doesn't ask if you need sponsorship, better you ask them before spending any time giving the assessments.
