I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at International (Lisle, IL) in May 2012
Interview
First was an "interview" by the recruiter but this was more of a conversation than a interview. Asked me simple questions such as what I was interested in and if I would like to Navistar etc. I did not really have a phone interview and instead proceeded to go to a face to face group interview with 3 managers. They were very nice and only asked basic behavioral questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at International in Mar 2012
Interview
I received the opening from a HR consultant. The opening was for people with more than 6 years experience in Auto sector with international experience. But consultant pushed my profile due to vast depth of my experience. After that i had two 1:1 interviews with management of Navistar India. After that i did not receive any communication for 1.5 months. After that i was interviewed by 3 senior people from Navistar US (BU Head, HR Head and BD Head). Simultaneously my medical and background verification was also conducted. After my last interview it took another 1 month to roll out the final offer.
