I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at International in Apr 2012
Interview
The fist step was a phone interview. I emailed the HR department the time and date that worked best for me. The interview was delayed by an hour, which had me very concerned, until HR called me and said to wait another hour. The phone interview was with two gentlemen; one from operations, the other from engineering. Standard STAR questions.
The Second interview was at a plant location. First it was a group presentation/meet and greet. Then rotating interviews with several managers and engineers along with a facilities tour. Again cookie cutter STAR questions.
They had mentioned that they had more than enough positions, however I had heard that this claim was made to reduce the interview stress level. Additional, they seem to be somewhat disorganized as I had to call twice, a few weeks later, to find out that I had not been extended an offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at International (Melrose Park, IL) in May 2012
Interview
The interview was conducted by a group of 3 interviewers, which were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. They introduced themselves and their role in the company. They then examined my resume and proceeded with Behavioral questions. If you want to interview with them, practice some behavioral questions.
