KPMG Audit Associate interview questions

KPMG Audit interview process includes resume screening, detailed technical and case-based discussions, assessment of accounting and auditing knowledge, manager or partner round for judgment skills, and final HR discussion on cultural fit, compensation, and joining timelines.

I attended a KPMG panel interview with two full-time staff members from the team, not HR. They asked me a mix of behavioral and technical questions, focusing on my past experiences, problem-solving skills, and knowledge relevant to the role. I answered their questions directly, showing my communication, teamwork, and practical skills. After the interview, the staff will provide feedback to HR or the hiring manager, and I will be informed of the outcome or any next steps, such as a second round or an offer.
