Interview
I applied to numerous Manager level positions in January and was contacted by one franchised location in McKinney approximately one month later. The owner called me on a Saturday and requested to phone screen the following day (Sunday). Normally, I'm not a fan of businesses who conduct recruiting over the weekend, but considering the nature of the service I went ahead and agreed to participate.
The owner called as scheduled and explained that the role was actually an Assistant Manager level, not an actual Manager. The pay was also exceptionally low and I'm assuming the range that is posted here on Glassdoor reflects where the position is capped instead of what is offered based on experience. The conversation ended abruptly once I established these details and decided it was not worth moving forward.
I understand that this is a franchise, but there really should be some consistency in recruiting practices. The job descriptions and salaries posted are inaccurate and misleading.

Interview
Excellent interview. I was brought in for a "working interview" so that I can see how things flow. I was notified ahead of time that I should expect to be there for around 2 hours and was instructed specifically as to what I should wear so that it was appropriate. I felt comfortable going in and being there for so long because I felt mentally prepared.
They call you in and you speak to either the manager or the owner and they just ask basic interview questions to try and get a feel of your personality. If they like they will offer a second interview where you will have to come in and recite the membership agreement. After the second interview you basically have the job.
