I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Clarksville, TN) in May 2015
Interview
The interview was brief. Management asked basic interview questions along with questions related to customer service, answering the phone, and sales experience. The interview was with the two clinic managers. The franchiser was getting ready to hire new staff for the new location. The jobs is sales base which I was not aware of when I submitted my resume online, how ever it is very easy and repetitive work.

How do you feel a front desk associate should handle phone calls?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Massage Envy (West Palm Beach, FL) in Apr 2015
Interview
It only took a week after I applied to get a call for an interview. The first interview is pretty much your average interview: "tell me about yourself" kind of stuff and what experience you have. If they like you they will send you home with a sales script that you will have to memorize and they will ask you to recite it for them. If you recite it will, you're hired.

Are you good at sales? (Because this job is very much sales based)
I applied through other source. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Massage Envy (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2014
Interview
Even with a resume, applicants have to fill out a longish form. Including experience and contacts, etc.
Once called in for an interview, it's somewhat quick.
I had to give two 50 minute massages to two people at two locations. One was an hour in traffic, and I was NOT applying to that location, it was convenience for the second recipient.
The ME paperwork has questions like, "our motto is.... What does that mean to you?"
