The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Pasadena, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was called within a day of submitting my résumé. We scheduled an interview over the phone, it was made clear that it was a two day per week job, Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. I was surprised that my first interview turned out to be a practical, she didn't mention that. Then she scheduled me for a second interview and handed me directives on exactly what was expected for a second practical! Wow. I gave two wonderful facials and then didn't even get a follow up. This didn't seem right to me. These days people get away with anything.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Snohomish, WA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied for a position at the front desk via craigslist. I got a call the next day and before they set a time to come in, they asked me if I could stand for the entire shift. If that isn't discrimination, I don't know what is. I have a disability that makes it so that I can't stand for more than an hour. I cancelled my interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Gilbert, AZ)
Interview
Interview was very easy. Given a script to memorize, and you had to recite it to the manager. No questions were asked about previous experience or how I handle customers. Was given the job on the spot.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All they care about is sales, so memorize the script they give you. They hire anyone as long as you can deliver that script.
