I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meraki in Feb 2022
Interview
Got a Tech Screening. The interviewer wasted 20 mins in finding the Qualification question code problem.
The question was to use their API(s) and find network infrastructure elements. Pretty much GET, DELETE, PATCH verbs. There were also questions on creating class objects for these methods and API quality.
Since, I started late I was not able to complete one section. They did not get back to me. I followed up again and after 3 week I got to a technical round. Again in the technical round I met one of the interviewer who was shadowing in the eligibility round. He gave me the same question. I told him that I have already solved these questions. In spite of being honest, they rejected me. I could have easily solved all the questions and made it to the second round. The main interviewer was really not helpful. I have 20+ years of experience in Networking and this was a lame interview.
I find their interview panel to be incompetent and hypocrite, as rejecting someone who was honest in the eligibility round.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Meraki (Boston, MA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Screen with recruiter, screen with manager, project and panel presentation. The project was based on preset criteria and it was presented to the panel during the final interview. Every peer in the team was introduced and there was a lot of opportunity to ask questions.
Had a great first interview. Recruiter couldn’t wait to get me in front of hiring manager. Said to expect calendar availability within the week. Two weeks go by, I get an automated rejection email. No context, no personalization. Disrespectful and unprofessional.
