I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meraki (Toronto, ON) in May 2021
Interview
My interviewer was really unprofessional. She didn't even put her cam on which showed really bad etiquette, so that already was red flag #1. I was an internal candidate and I answered all the questions honestly, respectfully, and politely, but some of her responses were borderline unfriendly and showed a lack of caring almost to the point where I felt discriminated against. Maybe it is because she didn't believe me when I said my current role isn't officially reflected in HR systems - my manager told our director to officially change it but the director of my unit said it is too much hassle to go through the HR systems but that my current role will be recognized, just not officially via HR. But I am a little shocked that I didn't clear the phone screening. Either way, she was one of the worst HR reps I've ever encountered - discrimination at its finest.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meraki (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2020
Interview
first asked me to tell them a little bit about myself, explained my job duties at current company. How I assist users via phone, email, IM, text message. Told me about the role and the team how big it is what day to day duties will be like.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meraki (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2020
Interview
Intro call with recruiter, hour call with the hiring manager > rondo call with 4 mangers of which one is VP. I really appreciated how fast the process was flowing. the one thing that fried my brain was the 4 half our calls (back to back) in the end.
