I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meraki (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
initial call with the recruiter; conversation with the hiring manager; conversation with the team.
First off, the recruiting team is just awful. The communication is poor and the immaturity and unprofessionalism is unparalleled. My recruiter's tone was very demanding and showed lack of respect. After the interviews were completed, he asked me to call him in one line emails (shouldn't he be calling me? ). He then not picked up the phone and then called back at times I had shared I was unavailable.
The best thing going for the company is their affiliation with Cisco but Meraki is NOT Cisco and, from my experience, neither is the talent pool or the leadership. The hiring manager plays the part of a big firm leader but he is not and they are not - they are a start up with leaders who are still maturing.
I was also disappointed about the manager's answers about inclusion and diversity. He attempted to recite the cliché answers but failed delivering the tired old script because he was being disingenuous. BTW: his entire team looks exactly like him.
Overall, I got the offer because I stuck through the process and I was already employed with a good firm so I had the luxury to be patient. I declined the offer because what I learned about Meraki and it's staff who I found to be unprofessional and not as talented as other organizations.

They have no idea what they are doing during interviews. Trying to be Google and Facebook.
I really enjoyed the interview process with Meraki. The culture was very present just by chatting with my interviewers. All of my interviewers were also very pleasant during the entire process.
