I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meraki (Singapura) in Feb 2018
Interview
• Very unresponsive, inflexible and unprofessional
• Poor quality of people/interviewers – in industry maturity, experience and skill set
• Poor Interview scheduling process
• No respect for candidate's time, entire process meant to suit interviewer time and convenience - "expect to take a leave as per interviewer convenience". So even if the offer is not given, candidate already has lost a leave on his end.
• Unethical company - asked candidate to do end-to-end strategy consulting work as part of interview which would ideally cost them money
• Very flimsy, meaningless feedback and decision making
• After multiple rounds with different interviewers in 3 months, final decision made based on 30 minutes of last round while all prior rounds were given excellent feedback. No comprehensive or structure way of arriving at the decision.
• Interviewers were immature and lagged management consulting or strategy experience themselves - reflected in the questions asked during the interview, their way of assessing candidate skills and arriving at the final decision
• Interviewers focused on whether candidate has "slides" rather than focusing on key analysis brought during discussions
• Pathetic experience - "Cisco" brand is misleading here, Meraki seems like a startup with people running the process as per their "logic" and convenience. Reflects how it would be if I had joined the company at all.
