I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meraki (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
I was head hunted by HR Meraki a few years ago. This HR lady, full of herself, believed she was entitled to ask any questions during this introductory chat. Certainly not. The call ended quickly.
One year later, I applied online for a role I was interested in. I was told that the role was filled in, nevertheless, I was still invited for a phone interview and a f2f with the hiring Manager (no HR presence here). I attended the job interview in the game room - the fish bowl. The hiring Manager was certainly very interested in having lunch on time as he was signalling several times to a friend through the crystal. No questions at all about achievements. 5 or 6 typical interview questions were asked and he wasn't even listening to the answers.
However, he was definitively interested in knowing if I was a good fit:
Do you know how to play soccer and skateboarding in the office?
Do you like London or not ?
Are you enough rock 'n' roll ? There are many interpretations possible derived from the term "rock and roll", and for sure, none of these are work related.
For instance, rock 'n' roll originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940s..so back in 21st century, I was indeed not "rock 'n' roll".
I also noticed the huge disproportion between number of male and female employees: 2 female employees in a crowded male environment. Average age in the office: all in their 20 - thirties. Overall, the whole hiring process was not right at all.

Question 1
Are you enough rock 'n' roll?
I replied: "I am not. I am a professional. And what exactly do you mean by asking are you enough rock 'n' roll?"
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meraki (San Francisco, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Very complete and easy going interview process. Very thorough quetions both technical and business oriented. I was interviewed both by phone and in person. The recruiting team is excellent and their advice for the interview process was very helpful. Well organized, they completed the interview and hiring process very quickly.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meraki (San Francisco, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Standard phone interview. 30 minutes, basic questions.
The experience was bad because I still have not heard back from the recruiter. Obviously, I didn't get the position (I've accepted another offer since then), but I would at least like one of those automated "Sorry, you didn't get the job" e-mails.
I even called and left the recruiter a message following up on our talk. Still waiting to hear back...
