I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mondelēz International (Uxbridge, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
Application online followed by a telephone interview, these were very straight forward. Telephone interview was conducted by someone overseas with English as a 2nd language so was difficult to understand.
I then got through to the assessment day. I only had a weeks notice but they paid travel expenses up to £100. Assessment day was fun but very competitive. There were 10 people there. Activities as followed:
1) Got given a large amount of information based on several chocolates which we got given an hour to read through. We had to plan a presentation on which chocolate we thought was best to be released.
2) Present presentation to assessor
3) Group discussion
4) One on One interview
5) Negotiation task (I had to ask for room for our stock in a warehouse but obvious hurdles arise which mean you have to negotiate)

Interview
Submit basic application information to determine eligibility. Then, there was an online assessment, followed by a pre recorded interview, and then an assessment centre as the final stage of the process.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mondelēz International in Nov 2024
Interview
A gruelling three-step digital assessment involving mental math, a 'flow' game where you have to create a pathway from A to B, and a memory game where you have to escape a maze. How this measures your ability to market I am still unclear on. A video interview followed this, but feedback was not provided. Four assessments later, I did not have contact with a single human being.

AVOID! STILL OWED EXPENSES FOUR MONTHS LATER!
I was called two days before the assessment centre and expected to get a train down to London the following day. I was promised all costs would be reimbursed due to the late notice. The assessment centre itself consisted of a presentation - given 1 hour 15 minutes to go through a 30 page book of information and create a presentation based on it. Next, a group task, followed by a role play which was tough. Finally a 1-1 interview. The day itself was very difficult but as expected.
Sadly, despite chasing up for four months I am still owed £70 for the expenses, this is a completely unacceptable way to treat applicants and because of this I would completely avoid attending any assessment centres/ interviews unless you are happy to be out of pocket!
