During the interview, the panel focused heavily on DevOps-related topics, aiming to assess both theoretical understanding and practical experience. They asked detailed questions about cloud platforms, especially AWS services like EC2, S3, and IAM, and how they integrate into scalable infrastructure. The discussion also covered CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and how automation improves deployment efficiency. I was asked to explain containerization using Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Additionally, they touched on networking concepts, Linux commands, and how DevOps practices align with agile development. Some questions also involved data structures and algorithms to evaluate problem-solving skills in a systems context.
Took 6 weeks for a single interview then never heard from again. Would wholeheartedly not recommend them to anyone ever. This is just too much for anyone to have to go through.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Okta (Mangalore) in Aug 2025
