I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Okta (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
First had a phone screen with HR. Then a first round 30-min phone interview with my manager. Then two second round 30-min interviews with other members of the team. This is when I had the opportunity to ask them a lot of questions about their role and gauged whether the internship would be a good fit for me.

Question 1
Past work experience, personality questions, computer networking technical questions, what I want to takeaway from the internship (have a well thought-out answer for this)
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Okta
Interview
Started off friendly, but got awkward and unprofessional. The initial job description was vague and filled with buzzwords but finally the actual job description was revealed in the interview. This made it hard to interview because the reasons that I had applied apparently did not matter because the job description was different than the job. The interviewer snickered at one of my responses and overall seemed to be uninterested and unorganized. Even if I had gotten an offer, the interview had turned me off enough to the company that I probably would not have accepted.

Question 1
Situational questions and questions about cloud computing
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Okta (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
After I was connected with Okta, I had a preliminary phone call with the hiring manager that week and came in for a round of interviews with the team the following week. I met with seven team members back-to-back. I was brought back in on Friday for a final meeting, then extended an offer the next week.
