I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Okta (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Very organized. I first spoke on the phone with a recruiter who gauged my interest, then with a manager of the support team who'd ultimately become my eventual boss. A two-and-a-half interview was then scheduled with 7 people -- 4 individually, and then a group of 3. This was daunting upon first glance at the schedule, but I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. This was not an "interrogative" interview. It was much more conversational, even good-humored, and I felt as though I were being evaluated on my soft skills more than my job-specific knowledge. They sold me on the company in general and the position in particular, and I left the interview very hopeful that I'd be offered a position.

Mostly general stuff: describe a difficult situation you recently faced and how you handled it, stuff like that.

Interview
In short, extensive and impressive!!! Starting with a seasoned, supportive and punctual recruiter phone call, then a company introductory meeting with an awesome VP of Engineering who will leave you just dreaming of joining his team. Screening phone interviews, a full day of interviews with great friendly Okta staff and finally followup interviews to best position the candidate in the right team. Things that touched me like accommodating a personal condition that postponed my interviews for a couple of months. Top smart engineers, who are down to earth and very friendly. The moment you step in, you can feel the positive energy everywhere, and staff who have passion for everything they do. The recruiter gave me the best interviewing experience I ever had in my over 18 years of professional experience. He's very friendly, helpful, kept me up to date with the process and did everything possible to make me comfortable during the process. I am very sad I couldn't go for their offer due to some personal reasons at my end.

NDA! I am sorry!!! The good thing they are going to tell you ahead what to expect during the interviews. No surprises! They just need to gauge your skills level, not to trick you.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Okta (Remote, OR) in Aug 2015

It takes quite a bit of time before you get hired. I had around 10 hours of interviews + a sales pitch which will require good preparation. great process overall and the people are truly honest in their feedback.
