I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Okta
Interview
have been doing the same job exactly in a giant competitor before Okta was born. i saw the opportunity in Okta and decided to enrich their expertise and grow with them as win win scenario. recruiter picked my resume immediately. hiring manager called me. he said i am very very interested lets talk more in 2 days. called me again in 2 days for 10 minutes ending the conversation by: next steps you will talk to my management. i got an email next day with rejection. very confused process indeed.
i have been generating direct revenue of millions of dollars over the last 5 years doing exactly the same position. i thought this will be a piece of cake. anyway the product is amazing and speak of itself. the interview process is in its infancy which makes sense for a recently born company. i definitely recommend the product as a customer but the interview process tells a lot about team work and employee respect.

Interview
The interview process was fantastic and was definitely the best process I've ever experienced. My recruiter always got back to me on the same day as my interview to tell me what the next steps were. I really appreciated the quick turnaround and wish all tech companies could have such a great hiring process

How does the internet work is always a tough question. Although I know a lot about how the internet works, the interviewer can keep drilling deeper, which makes the question challenging.
