I applied online. I interviewed at Okta in Mar 2020
Interview
The recruiter reached out after the application in 2 weeks. The next interview was with a team member. That interview had to be rescheduled because he was busy, I waited in the zoom call for 20 minutes before he asked to reschedule. Also didn't remember my recruiters name. During the rescheduled interview he focused on technical questions about simple dns & alot questions you can google. I was not asked anything about previous experience and was not given the opportunity to ask questions at the end. The interviewer also told me nothing more about the job. Not the best interview experience honestly. He seemed not engaged rather annoyed he had to interview. Also he called my recruiter the wrong name again so I just assumed I didnt get the job.

What experience can you bring to this job from your previous role?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Okta in Nov 2019
Interview
After applying, I received an invite from the recruiter to speak with the hiring manager. That went well and I was moved forward to a tech screen with a mission critical support engineer. After passing that, I was given a technical challenge to complete in a week where I integrated an AD domain with the Okta platform, Salesforce and DUO. I finished it in three days and had a review call with another engineer to go over it and answer more questions. The next step was a 3-person panel interview for a deeper dive on my tech skills, and they sounded happy with most of my answers, but a week later, I received an email from the recruiter saying they would not be moving forward with me. I was disappointed, but everyone I spoke with at Okta was very friendly and professional, and I'd still recommend the company.
