Very fair interview. 2 rounds and a technical coding exam. The interviewers were very nice and my recruitment manager made the experience smooth. I have no complaints at all. Work here!
Overall I had a pretty negative interview experience with Optum. Before my final interview I was given practically no information about the interview besides the time and day. I followed up via email with some pretty basic questions about the interview, and each time they responded with just a couple of words as if I was being a burden. I really enjoyed my conversation with my interviewer, and he said I should hear back within a week. The next day I get an automated email from UHG saying they would have a decision by the end of the next week (7 days). I didn't hear anything for 14 days. I received no contact information for my Recruiter so I had no way to reach out to them. I've never had an interview process that felt this "robotic". I was very excited about this company and program, but the interview process really left a bad taste in my mouth.
