I submitted an application through the company site, had an HR interview followed by an interview with the editor, and then evaluated a manuscript. The HR portion was very much a classic behavioral interview; the interview with the editor was much more conversational.

Question 1
What would I do if I were given equally important tasks by two different bosses?
I applied online. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
Received an email from an in-house recruiter about 1 month after applying for the internship position. We scheduled a phone call which lasted about 15 minutes. Next step was we coordinated an in-person interview with the supervisor for the internship. Within a few days I was offered the internship. Although I waited a month or more to hear anything back, the interview process was relatively short. It was a wonderful experience and I had the pleasure of meeting many great people.
Great very welcoming and informing, clear concise explanation, wonderful exciting friendly nice, understanding. Good to know, would like a chance to speak again. Maybe elevate the testing portion until the end,.
