I interviewed at PlayStation (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Two one on one interviews and a final stage interview involving a presenting a case study to a wider panel, took place over a month. Overall communication was quick and the experience positive.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PlayStation (Leeds, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
Slowest and most drawn out interview process I've ever been a part of.
The team seemed friendly but the entire process pointed towards a very disorganised structure with no clarity on job requirements; interviewers seemed confused about what they were looking for in the role.
Having said that, the people I met were smart, and the recruiter was very helpful in providing actionable feedback. I get the impression that it's a great place to work, but the process didn't fill me with confidence in the capabilities of the hiring team.

Question 1
How would you balance long-term commercial outlook with hitting short-term targets?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PlayStation (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jun 2025
Interview
15-30 minute chat with recruiter, 30 minute interview with head of department, 1.5 hour interview with senior data scientist and a team lead. Interview with HoD was a mix of behavioural and technical questions. 1.5 hour interview included a couple of notebooks to work on during the interview. There was one more interview (on site) after this, but I was rejected after the 1.5 hour interview for not having enough experience for the role.
