I applied online. I interviewed at RBC (Hamilton, ON) in Jul 2017
Interview
It was quite a long process, took a month to be completed, first stage involves the online application , the following week had my phone interview, i was contacted a week after to book a date for my face to face interview and was contacted the following week after.
Two weeks ago I completed an online personality assessment. It felt like a vocabulary test. Well then I received a call from a lady asking questions in terms of the reason why I applied for this position and we scheduled a time for another phone interview. So recently I had that phone interview. It was dumb. Tbh I always had my interviews at home, however, she asked me to move cause she said she couldnt hear me. I felt weird but I moved to another room. Later, I figured out that I spoke too fast so I slowed down a bit. She still couldnt understand me so she said rudely " you didn't get the point. " LOL WTF. And personally I love to say "You know what I mean" it comes naturally from my mouth and it doesn't have any meaning okay? And she was like " I really don't know what you mean. " I've never seen such an aggressive and hostile HR before. At the end of the interview, she asked me if I had any questions. Yes. I had one. She seemed so rude and impatient, she said " Go Ask. " LOL CHILL. Aside from how much money I put in RBC, the hiring process was so lame and my experience was totally bs. Please hire someone really professional. And SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH.
I applied online. I interviewed at RBC (Oakville, ON) in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied online and a few days later recived the online assessment to complete. Once I completed it, I was emailed to set up a phone interview for the pre-screening. Once that was completed, the recruiter emailed me about 4 days later to invite me to a group event for the following week.
At the group event, it was divided into 4 activities - introducing yourself and saying one thing unique 2) introducing your partner and telling HR why they should hire him/her 3) selling a product (you were given a item you and your partner had to convince and sell to HR) and 4) role play scenario with one of the HR team members (they gave you a scenario and you had to play the role of the client advisor, HR member was the customer)
