I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2019
Interview
This was a summer co-op developer position (4 month term). I had to interview with two people one of them was the product lead and the other was the dev lead. This role and team I was applying for was focus on working on apps for the RBC employees it involves web and mobile development.
The interview was exactly 45 minutes long and took place at the RBC Waterpark Place in downtown Toronto. I was taken to a room that they booked.
Before the interview started the dev lead went over the team and the job summary of the role and what they do and explained several technologies that they used and that they used agile methodology to develop their projects.
When the interview started, the product lead was asking behavioral and general questions regarding the role. I also had shown them a few of my school projects to display my experience with web development, which lead to technical questions that were asked by the dev lead.
Overall, interviewers were nice people made the environment very casual and friendly. The product lead did an ice breaker to help calm nerves.
