3 step interview process. One questionnaire, one video submission (answering questions that they provide), and one in-person where it is mostly in mini group settings. The whole interview process took a few months to complete.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time where you felt overwhelmed in your life and how did you overcome this.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview was quite difficult and primarily behavioural.
First round was a video interview with pre-recorded questions. You have 45 seconds to think of an answer and 2 minutes to record your answer after you reveal the question.
Second round was a panel interview with several interviewers and about 20 candidates. This interview was the most difficult. There were several rounds of presentations:
- 2 mins to get to know your breakout room partner; 30 secs to explain why they would be a good fit for the program
- Given a picture of a random product and told to come up with a marketing presentation for it in groups of 4.
- Given a problem statement (ex. mental health issues in Canada) and told to come up with a way to reduce the impact of the issue (ex. fundraiser, raising awareness, providing support services, etc.)
Each of these rounds were timed, make sure you keep track of time! I did not get to speak for the last round because our 2 mins were up from the first 2 teammates that spoke.

Note that you have to be in Canada to take the position because of their policy, even if the position is remote.
