You need time to build a demo but they provide you with a buddy who you been tap into when you get stuck.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Milão) in Jun 2017
Interview
Very well structured interview process. The first touch is with HR followed by a meeting with pre-sales managers.
The main step is the panel where you have to prepare a presentation based on a simulated scenario. The panel is followed by a meeting with sales manager and an european pre-sales manager.
My HR recruiter (Elizabeth) followed me in every steps and update me every time she had news.
I'm so impressed by this process, all the persons envolved are very focused and if you got the position you are sure that they choose you because you have well impressed the persons and the company.

Question 1
What do you do if we do not give you the position?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview process was excellent and the support throughout was superb. The process took 2-3 months during the summer period. It involved standard recruiter interviews, an in-person interview and a panel presentation. After the panel, I had a more causal conversation with a VP from another geography before I received the offer.
Salesforce has by far offered the greatest interview experience with much support from the company. You have to put in a lot of effort to succeed but the company does the same in evaluating you, so it's pretty fair. I am looking forward to joining a great team in London.
