I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2017
Interview
Approximately 3-4 telephone interviews followed by in-person presentation, demo, and Q&A with a panel of personnel related to the line of business applying for. Panel process was the most significant part of the process and required a great deal of prep and practice. All participants very professional and clearly communicated expectations and requirements of the job.

Question 1
How would you handle a last minute work request that required working the weekend to complete by Monday?
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Glassdoor community! I'm happy to read that you appreciated the process, and that our teams were effective and responsive throughout. Congrats on the new role and welcome to the #SalesforceOhana. - Ana Recio, SVP of Global Recruiting
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Sydney) in Jul 2017
Interview
7-rounds of interviews, at every stage everyone was very helpful and friendly. Presentations/Demos are needed for SE's - they really focused on making sure you are within the time given to you. Use your mentor as much as you can to make sure you cover everything. Be ready to ask discovery questions at the beginning of your demo, and make sure you answer them during your demo - and always selling the business value, not functionality. Always cover mobile.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in Jul 2017
Interview
Interview process was as most people described. Recruiter call, manager call, and then a panel demo and presentation.
I honestly have never been more impressed/happy with an interview process. Each step of the way it felt as though they were HELPING me to get the job and never made it feel as though I had to impress them.
My recruiter, Nikki Desai, was incredible and went above and beyond constantly to make sure I was informed and comfortable. I really felt like part of the team from the very beginning.
