Was told I was leading candidate being submitted. Kept getting delays on status for 3 weeks. Then finally told they hired 2 internal contractors that were already working in the role. This leads me to believe they had no intention of interviewing external candidates and they posted the job just to appear compliant.

It was a pleasant experience. I moved quickly through interview rounds. It was by far the most conversational interview I have had. The interviewer did a great job making me feel at ease.

Interview
The HM reached out to me on LinkedIn and we had an initial phone conversation. I enjoyed what I heard, felt we had a good connection, he was energetic and engaged, so I was excited about the role.
I then had two interviews with two other people on the team. One of the interviewers was a no-show, and we had to reschedule. Both interviews were a snoozefest. The interviewers had zero personality, asked me very strange questions as if they didn't know how to have a normal conversation with someone, and I felt like I was talking to robots.
The recruiter ghosted me after the interviews— which is great because I did not like the vibe during the interviews.
