I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Plano, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
I was referred into the recruiting process 2x about a year apart by someone in the position already. He had spoken to his direct boss who was the hiring manager about me and then the 2nd time he also spoke with the hiring manager who was a former peer of his.
ServiceNow requires you to go through the recruiter in HR that is assigned to the group. In both instances, the recruiter never referred me back to the hiring manager. The first time, she completely blew me off despite following up with her about 3 times over a 5 week period being persistent but not annoying. The 2nd time, she asked me for interview times for the following week. When I provided them she pretended like she had never asked me and stated she was waiting on feedback on whether the hiring manager wanted to speak with me even though he had asked me to apply first and enter the process via the recruiter.
In the end, the recruiting process has frustrated me enough despite being an employee referral, that I cannot recommend this even though I have heard great things about ServiceNow as a company.
