Each store and owner has their own hiring process, so be advised.
They ask you a few questions about experience and how comfortable you are with men's hair. Basically do a personality check and hire you or pass.

It's the easiest thing, the managers have no judge in character not speaking from myself but based on the other girls they hired, so if you are actually nice, young, friendly, and reasonably attractive you will get hired.

Interview
There are two parts to the interview process, a formal interview- you sit down with the manager and answer questions and sell yourself the best you can, and if you pass this part, then you are sent on to the technical interview- you bring in a model and perform a haircut for the manager to show off your technical abilities.
