I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Concord, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
I recieved a call around 8:45am. The man did not introduce himself, but simply stated he was with Starbucks and had some questions about my resume. He had a very heavy accent, and was hard to understand and hear (sounded like I was on speakerphone, with him on the opposite side of the room) I expressed that I was not in a position to speak formally at the moment. He ignored me and continued with his questions regarding my most recent work experience, specifically the “daily volume”. I tried my best to express the impact the pandemic had on my previous business. He interuppted me asking about how many people I managed, and as I started to get into it, he continued interrupting asking about shifts and scheduling. I asked him to repeat the question, because I didn’t quite hear him, and he told me someone would be in touch with me and hung up. I have not heard from them since.
