I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TJ Maxx
Interview
Was asked just basic customer service questions. Also discussed what my availablity would be. Very easy in person interview. Met with the operations assistant manager. The interview was probably only 20-30 minutes.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TJ Maxx in May 2016
Interview
I turned in my application in person and was asked to attend a group interview. The group interview I attended had two other people. We were asked about customer service and why we wanted to work for the company. We had to role play as cashier and customer and try and sell the TJ Maxx credit card.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (New York, NY) in May 2016
Interview
Appiled in-person and was called in for a group interview about a week later. Not everyone for the group interview showed up so it was just me and two other people. Probably the easiest interview ever. There were no questions asked, she mainly just spoke about the company, herself, employee benefits, expectations, the work environment, and how important customer service was for the store. It was very casual and lasted no more than thirty minutes. She gave us a form to fill out and said she would call us on the weekend to notify us whether or not we got the job. I unfortunately did not receive an offer since I was only looking to work for the summer because I would have to go back to school in the fall. She told me the store was looking would for someone long-term, but if I was interested to work during the holiday season to just call her and let her know.
