I recently had the misfortune of being a part of T2's interview process. I was contacted on LinkedIn and received an interview invite without applying for the role. The person who reached out set up the interview at a time that I told them I wouldn't be available, and didn't communicate that well about it. We agreed on one interview time, but they sent a confirmation on a day I couldn't make it. I decided to make myself available on both days. The interview was bland and just felt like a boring conversation. The person I spoke to made lots of random pauses after I answered their questions. They asked about my salary requirements, my availability, why I'm looking for work (THEY CONTACTED ME ABOUT THE POSITION), and asked me to summarize my professional background. They asked about my GPA as well. Bear in mind this position doesn't necessarily showcase itself as an entry level position. They ended up ghosting me. The person who called said they would get back in a day or two the latest. I understand they hosted a hiring event this week. Not sure why they would contact me if they knew I wasn't qualified. Whoever does received a final offer, tread carefully and good luck - you'll need it.

Question 1
They asked about my resume, GPA (for a non entry level role where a professional certificate is desired), about my availability, and desired pay.
Streamlined interview process in appropriate format for a remote work position. Good questions from each person I spoke with while avoiding repetition. Spoke with decision makers over the span of a week and was presented an offer the week after. Recommended - professionally handled and respectful of my time.

Question 1
What are my strategic goals should I ultimately be offered the position.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Take-Two in Jul 2022
Interview
Seems unorganized. I was put through 5 interviews, in the end was suggested to look at a different position they had open because I might be a better fit, and was ghosted after that.
The process was moving quickly and everyone was super responsive up until my 4th interview. After my 4th interview, no one responded to me for about 2-3 weeks until I get a random TEXT from the recruiter that the last person to interview me is back from vacation and asking if I’m still available. Aside from getting an informal text, this rubbed me the wrong way because no one communicated that the person who was supposed to interview me was on vacation. They just ignored me, so I assumed I wasn’t moving forward.
5th interview was set up, all was good, told me I might be better fit for the Data Analyst position if that interests me, then radio silence again. It has been about a month since I heard back after sending 2 follow up emails to both the recruiter and the HR contact.
As someone who loves video games, I really thought it would be interesting to work here, but this entire process would turn me away from accepting an offer if I ever got one.

Met with people on different teams who you would be interacting with. Just asked questions about myself and some basic Tableau specific questions.
