I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Scarborough, ME) in Aug 2019
Interview
Two interview process. First interview went well with one of the management team. At the end she asked if I attend another interview two days later.
That Thursday, I interviewed with the Managing Partner. Near the end of the interview he asked me to write down one more reference (said that he like to ask for another reference during interviews). A couple minutes later he came back. I had given 2 more references. That was the end of the interview. He said that he was going to contact my references, that to the first person who interviewed with me and then get back to me. That was the last I'd heard from Texas Roadhouse. To my knowledge he never contacted my references (I check with 3 of them, including my current supervisor), and never received a callback as stated. First off, you should not be contacting references unless you're prepared to make an offer afterward. Secondly, you don't tell the interviewee that you're going to make contact with your references if you do not intend to do so. That is very unprofessional. It caused me to believe that I had a good chance of being hired and turned down a good job offer since I had a preference to work at Texas Roadhouse and wished to make a career with the company.
