First had a sit down interview with manager. Secondly had a work interview, allowing me to see how the restaurant functions from the host stand, bar, and kitchen. It allowed me to ask questions and see if it was a good work environment for me.

Talked to manager for about five minutes about the job available and asked me questions about previous employer and why I wanted the job. He then asked me to sell him the salt shaker. I guess they want to know if you can convince people to buy higher priced menu items/ upsell.

They talk to you about your values which is nice, but then give you a menu test that hostess only take once and even after people take it they still arent educated on the menu.
