I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Bowie, MD) in May 2013
Interview
My first interview was impromptu as I had just turned in my paper application, back before we transferred to online apps. It was a great experience with our service manager, who was very pleasant and professional. I then was brought back for a second interview scheduled with our MP, who unfortunately couldn't make it. The kitchen manager then stepped in and asked a few questions about college choices and schedule availability. He said I had a very bubbly personality and would be a great addition to the host stand. Within 3 months I became a trained and within a year I become a the coordinator of the host stand. Texas Roadhouse is a great company that sees the potential in young adults and pushes them towards it with encouragement! I would definitely encourage anyone to apply and move forward with the interview process.

I received a phone call shortly after applying asking me to come in for an interview. I came in for an interview that was relatively short. The manager just asked me about myself and my previous jobs. Afterwards the manager set me up with my second interview for a different day with the general manager. The GM asked very similar questions to the first manager and offered me the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Bloomington, IN) in Jan 2012

Quick and easy. The whole process took a couple days and two different managers interviewed me. Both interviews lasted a maximum of 10 minutes and there were no serious questions involved.
