I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Twilio (Singapura) in Jan 2021
Interview
Terrible experience! Had to go through 7 interviews with HR, hiring manager, "bar raiser", and a few others. In every single interview, we ended on a positive note. But after all the interviews were over, total radio silence. Did not even get a reply from the hiring manager nor the HR on the interview status.
To Twilio HR and hiring team, it doesn't take much effort to send a simple follow-up email on the interview status. Just don't leave the interviewees hanging high and dry. We took the effort to research and prepare for the interview, simple courtesy would be for you to send us an email update, even if it is a rejection email.
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (Redwood City, CA) in Apr 2020
Interview
I enjoyed talking to the team but the interview process took way too long... 7+ weeks from first recruiter phone screen to final interview. Also did not get good follow up time frames and had to chase down recruiter for updates (e.g. was supposed to get an update on a Monday and that turned into the following week). That's not very nice to candidates and I consider that "shenanigans"
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interviews mostly structured as "tell me about a time when you..."
Thank you for the feedback. We know how precious your time is and we are sorry to hear that the recruiters did not get back to you. We will take this feedback to the team to remind them of best practices around communication and general candidate experience. We are always looking to improve our process and this feedback is very helpful.
