I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I applied online and received an online coding challenge. I successfully completed it and then I was called for an onsite interview. I had 4 rounds. 3 technical rounds and 1 behavioral. The questions were moderate to hard. One of the interviewers was rude and despite the answer being correct, he did not seem satisfied. Plus he seemed to be rushing through the interview. Overall it was a decent experience. I believe I did well but unfortunately got a reject a week later.
Given a non-empty string s and a dictionary wordDict containing a list of non-empty words, determine if s can be segmented into a space-separated sequence of one or more dictionary words.
I am sorry to hear that your experience with us could have been better. We strive to treat all of our candidates with respect, and I will take this feedback back to our team to learn from moving forward.

Interview
OA, then they would schedule an onsite.
Onsite: 4 rounds a day, morning or afternoon event, 45 mins for each. System design, Database, Algorithm, Full BQ, all cover.
Interviewer from BQ section was highly passionate, and that would make you have great interest on this company. That's a pity I cannot pass the interview.
Tired but learnt a lot.
Thank you for taking the time to interview with us and are glad you had a positive experience. We hope you will keep us in mind for potential future opportunities.

Interview
Applied back in October, heard back in around two weeks and was told to take a coding challenge. I finished this challenge and I got a reply roughly 2 months later - in December - saying they were still in the process of matching me with a team. A week later I got another email saying they still hadn't found a team and to fill out a Google form if I was still interested. And I did. Got a follow up early in February - but you guessed it- they were still trying to match me to a team. Finally, got a follow up few hours ago which stated that they would not be moving on with my application. I mean seriously did you have to keep applicants waiting for 5 months to get that information out? Twilio needs a thorough restructuring of its recruitment process.
I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us. We are constantly looking at our processes and reevaluating best practices to ensure a challenging, but fair interview. We strive for everyone to have a positive experience and will use this as a learning opportunity.
