I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Twilio
Interview
Steps:
1. Recruiter interview
2. HackerRank
3. Another recruiter interview
4. Pair Programming(1 hour)
5. System Design(1.5 hours)
6. HM interview(1 hour)
5. Feedback call
Since all these people are residing in a lot of countries, they are sometimes late. They sometimes miss emails/queries. Maybe that happens when you are in different time zones.
After all these steps they told me I didn't have enough experience in production, but they needed people who had experience in the production environment because they do not maintain separate QA/DevOps teams. But I did not have that before all 6 interview steps either. And it wasn't mentioned in the job description.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio
Interview
1. Recruiter interview, a standard one, though I didn't have to retell the resume.
2. Tech assessment on HackerRank: 2-3 tasks on various topics.
3. Call with another recruiter where they tell you more about the next steps (idk why they can't do it in writing, similar to other companies).
4. Tech steps:
- System Design: In the end, they ask you to list the technologies that you would've chosen for the project and why.
- Live Coding: Task similar to one from step 2.
- HM interview: 3 behavioral questions. The way it was handled could've been easily replaced with a form.
5. Feedback call.
With an exception for the very first call, every interviewer was late. Interviewers from Tech steps had a bad setup, and it was hard to see them due to bad lighting/camera placement.
Overall, not a bad experience, but I was disappointed as I expected more professionalism from this company.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (Bengaluru) in Dec 2023
Interview
Good and bit tough and was good environment and also was knowledgeable. They gave a pdf for knowing more abt the company before the interview was scheduled and also good place for worker to work
