I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied through online. They sent a hackerrank coding test which contains three medium levels difficult questions but given only 50mins. Ordinary human-like me don't have the gut to solve three medium difficulty questions in 50mins. Maybe they only hire aliens.
We are sorry you did not have a positive experience with us. We strive to have a fair, but challenging and thorough interview. We will use your feedback to review the expectations from the HackerRank test with our internal team. We really appreciate your feedback.
I applied online and they sent me a HackerRank challenge which was 45 minutes long and consisted of two coding questions.
One of them was remarkably easy. The other one dealt with networking and I failed that miserably.
They never got back to me with an update, but I wasn't expecting anything anyways. I already knew I failed.

Thank you for your interest in Twilio and we so appreciate you taking the time to participate in the HackerRank test. I am sorry to hear that you didn't hear back from us, that is definitely something that we need to do better on. Thank you for giving us the feedback and we will look at our process to make it better.
